Wokingham is about as close to our Reading offices as it is possible to be without living in Reading: fifteen minutes on the train, a short walk to Forbury Square, and you are sitting in the pre-test interview. For Wokingham clients we are simply the local polygraph service.
Proximity aside, what matters is what happens in the room. Your examiner is trained to police standards in interviewing and works to American Polygraph Association standards. The questions are agreed with you word for word before anything is recorded, and the full report with charts reaches you within 24 hours of the test.
By train: Wokingham to Reading takes around 15 minutes, and our Forbury Square office is a short walk from the station.
By car: the A329 corridor brings you into central Reading in 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic; the nearest car park to Forbury Square is Queens Road Car Park. Drivers who prefer the M4 can use our Theale office at junction 12, with paid parking onsite.
Recommended office: Forbury Square (Davidson House, RG1 3EU), a short walk from Reading station; or Theale (Arlington Business Park, RG7 4SA) if you would rather drive and park onsite. Exact directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
You can book privately, and plenty of people do while they decide how to raise it. Bear in mind the examinee must attend voluntarily, so if the test is for your partner rather than you, they will need to agree and consent in writing before any examination can happen. We are happy to talk through how other couples have approached that conversation.
Allow two hours at the office. The pre-test interview takes the biggest share, the recorded examination runs roughly 90 minutes of the total, and your examiner explains the preliminary result before you leave. From Wokingham the entire round trip fits comfortably inside a morning or afternoon.
If you are in Wokingham, the nearest professional polygraph office is ours at Forbury Square in Reading town centre, fifteen minutes away by train and a short walk from the station, with a second office at Theale for drivers. That makes us the local service in every practical sense: no travelling examiner, no hired hotel room, just permanent testing suites a few miles up the road that you can book online today.
